The Association is located in Taipei City and has twenty branches all over of Taiwan. Under the jurisdiction of each branch, after-care counselling areas are then established in township (city) or district units.

The Association has a board of directors and a managing board of directors; its branches are established with committees and managing committees. The Ministry of Justice has appointed the chief prosecutor of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, chief commissioners of each branch, chief of the correction authority, relevant scholars, experts or people interested in public service to serve in these positions and carry out the after-care work. These are all unpaid positions.
