Although the Association has integrated many social resources and accumulated a lot of practical experience in many years of after-care work, the Association still hopes to undertake even more in-depth analysis and exploration of various after-care-related issues from academic and international perspectives. It also hopes to see more research to reinforce the integration of practice and theory, so as to enable the design of more forward-looking and comprehensive after-care programs for the future.
The Association has collaborated with the University of Taipei, Chung Cheng University and Hsuan Chuang University in inviting renowned scholars and experts from Taiwan and overseas to discuss in-depth issues relating to criminal correction and after-care in Taiwan. By encouraging academic and research institutions to study these issues, it is hoped that suitable recommendations can be provided to those institutions in practice, and to review and formulate a more comprehensive system.
